We have an exciting ongoing opportunity to join our Forecasting team and report into our Systems Operations Lead. In this role your primary focus will be Drive continuous improvement through analysis of sales forecast opportunities and trends, resolving issues and targeting interventions to deliver improved forecast effectiveness and accuracy, optimise efficiency, and influence commercial decision making to drive improved customer outcomes.
You day to day will involve:
- Support the planning, implementation and improvement of product and category initiatives
- Proactively identify expected fluctuations in demand because of constraints and/or other forecast adjustments or customer behaviour and revise for short notice price or promotional changes, unexpected events etc
- Actively contribute to promotional, event planning, store impact and ranging activities
- Act as a trusted advisor and business partner to internal stakeholders to develop their use of forecast data to achieve commercial outcomes
- Deepen stakeholder understanding of how forecast changes can influence customer outcomes, clearly articulating the implications of choices and actions
- Use data analyses to highlight forecast accuracy opportunities and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to improve system forecast quality
- Ensure that the customer is at the heart of all decisions and that forecasting is both accurate and agile in nature

Your skills should include:
- Prior demand planning experience in an end-to-end supply chain or retail environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Influencing and persuasion skills to gain the support and commitment of others
- Ability to develop stakeholder understanding and knowledge of how demand choices and actions can influence customer and commercial outcomes
