We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a JJ’s Accounts Payable Administrator, you will support our depot operations in the Victoria region - based from our modern Dandenong office.  

We are looking for someone with a high level of customer service skills, as well as the ability to learn quickly, and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. This includes having excellent problem solving and time management skills.

JJ’s is an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.

This position is a permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving, reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and completeness before processing payments

  • Ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, adhering to payment terms and schedules

  • Communicating with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices or payments

  • Ensuring all payments are properly authorised in line with company policy

  • General administration, data entry and office support

  • Answering telephones and responding to email enquiries

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up, escalations and preparing outgoing correspondence as required

  • Working closely with Operations, Sales, Administration and Management to ensure the flow of information

  • Other duties as requested

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role is highly regarded

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders

  • Possess a high attention to detail with the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks

  • Able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player

  • Proficient in office software and administrative systems, with a willingness to learn new tools and processes

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
