Who This Role Is Perfect For

Abbeys is a fast-paced environment where variety is built into everything we do, so it's best suited to versatile all-rounders. One minute you might be promoting a stunning diamond ring, the next you’re building a campaign to support downsizers moving to retirement or engaging buyers for a full deceased estate going under the hammer. If the idea of seeing your work play out in real time on auction day excites you, you’ll enjoy the buzz here.

You’ll do well in this role if:

  • You’re passionate about the circular economy and doing your bit for the planet.

  • You naturally combine analytical thinking with creative flair in content and campaign work, and you can point to clear results from your marketing activity.

  • You enjoy owning the whole journey, from crafting the story to building audiences, to pulling the levers in Social and Search, and you’re comfortable being accountable for performance.

  • You have a genuine passion for learning and self-development, staying ahead of the digital curve through testing, experimentation, and ongoing upskilling.

  • You're hands-on and energised by constant new challenges, and can juggle multiple activities whilst maintaining quality and focus.

What You’ll Bring

Essential

  • 2–4 years’ experience in digital marketing with hands-on Social media and email management responsibilities.

  • Strong content writing skills for social, email, and web.

  • Experience using HubSpot for marketing management and automation, or a similar platform, with the confidence to transition to HubSpot.

  • Ability to configure, read and interpret analytics (Google Analytics, ad platform dashboards, HubSpot reporting, email performance).

  • Well developed design skills using Canva or similar templated design tools.

  • Experience managing social media channels and community engagement.

  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritise, manage deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Google Analytics 4 certification.

  • Deeper HubSpot experience (workflows, lead scoring, advanced segmentation).

  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for email template tweaks.

  • Exposure to auctions, eCommerce, or other performance-driven environments.

Why You’ll Thrive Here

·         Impact.  You’ll see a direct line from your work to bidder registrations, vendor/removals leads, and auction results.

·         Variety. Every week brings different collections, campaigns, and content angles.

·         Ownership. You’ll manage the full digital mix rather than a narrow channel slice.

·         Support. You’ll report to an experienced Marketing Manager and be part of a close-knit team.

·         Growth. Over time you’ll deepen skills and broaden responsibilities in marketing, CRO, analytics, advanced segmentation, and strategic campaign design.

Work Arrangement

·         Location: Burwood, VIC

·         Type: Full-time, permanent (With option for perm Part Time for the right candidate)

·         Hours: 30–40 hours per week (some flexibility around auction peaks may be required)
