About Us GPO Nominees Pty Ltd ATF Gladstone Park Hotel Unit Trust trading as Gladstone Park Hotel is a well-established hospitality venue located in Gladstone Park, Victoria.

The hotel provides food and beverage services, gaming, and hospitality operations to a large local customer base. To support the financial management and reporting requirements of the business, we are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team. Location: 196 Mickleham Road, Gladstone Park VIC 3043

Position: Accountant – Full-Time Salary: $77,000 – $87,000 + Superannuation About the Role

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the financial operations of the business. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, monitoring transactions, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare financial statements, management reports, and balance sheet reconciliations. 2. Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records. 3. Prepare BAS, IAS, and other statutory financial reports.

4. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. 5. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. 6. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and taxation requirements.

7. Maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions and records. 8. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required. 9. Support internal financial reporting and operational financial oversight.

10. Identify areas for financial efficiency and cost control. Skills & Experience 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (as aligned with ANZSCO qualification requirements for Accountant).

2. Minimum one-two years of experience working in an accounting or finance role. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation requirements. 4. Experience using accounting software and financial systems.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. High attention to detail and organisational ability. 7. Good communication and teamwork skills.
