About the Position We're seeking a skilled Sr. Accounts Receivable Officer with strong leadership skills and a proactive, can-do attitude to lead our receivables team. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for achieving collection KPIs and bring proven debt collection experience to our finance team. Reporting to the CFO, this role offers a motivated professional the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Key member of accounts receivable team

  • Oversee the accounts receivable process to ensure timely customer payments and meet weekly performance targets

  • Manage high-volume debt collection, including making outbound calls

  • Process and allocate debtor payments

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices and statements

  • Prepare daily bank deposits and conduct reconciliations

  • Consolidated and upload invoices to client portals an upload

  • Review and process new credit applications in line with company guidelines

  • Resolve customer account inquiries promptly

  • Manage petty cash reconciliation

  • Maintain accurate delivery records, including run sheets and proof of delivery

  • Prepare end-of-month reports and ensure customer deadlines are met

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to accounts receivable team members

  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management

Skill required for the job:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a senior accounts receivable role in Australia

  • Permanent resident status is required for this position

  • Excellent organizational skills and computer proficiency

  • Proactive, positive, and professional demeanor

  • Reliable with a consistent record of punctuality

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
