We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic HR/ Payroll Officer to join a high performing company based in Dandenong.

Australian Meat Group is a meat processing and export business dedicated to the concept of excellence to deliver the highest standard in every aspect.

This position will include the following duties and responsibilities:

• Afternoon Shift: 12PM - 9PM

• Filing of all relevant documents into the employee master files. 

• Compile comprehensive absenteeism reports tailored for management staff.

• Demonstrate proficiency in efficient and accurate data entry techniques.

• Collecting, calculating, and entering data to maintain and update payroll information.

• Resolving payroll discrepancies 

• Provide Agency reports on a weekly basis, provide answers to any queries that may arise.

• Have strong attention to detail, together with time management skills.

What we expect-

• HR, Payroll experience, qualification in HR not mandatory but advantageous

• Conduct a walkthrough of the production floor and actively engage with both the workforce and the management team.

• High level of interpersonal skills, capable of writing and communicating effectively and professionally

• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders and employees on a multitude of levels.

• Multi-tasker with excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Possesses attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Proven reliability and trust with confidential information and matters 

• Can do, positive attitude. Self-motivating. Capability to be proactive and take ownership.

• Excellent communication and computer skills with the ability Microsoft products particularly Excel.
