We're looking for a skilled Accounts Officer to manage payables across a growing transport business based in Truganina. If you're consistent, clear in communication, and operate with sound accounting principles—you'll fit right in.

This position reports directly to the Finance Manager and plays a key role in supporting financial operations and compliance

Your Role Includes

  • Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and customer payments in line with sound accounting principles

  • Managing payment runs and reconciling vendor/customer accounts with accuracy

  • Supporting bank reconciliation and month-end processes

  • Maintaining clear and compliant records for audit and reporting

  • Liaising with operations and suppliers to resolve transactional queries

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years' demonstrated experience in accounts payable/receivable

  • Proven reliability and a strong sense of commitment to team goals

  • Intermediate level MYOB proficiency with ability to navigate core accounting functions effectively

  • Attention to detail with strong numerical and organisational skills

  • Confident Excel use – pivot tables & LOOKUP functions a bonus

  • Clear written and verbal communication

  • Understanding and application of sound accounting principles and best practices

  • Focus on continuous improvement

  • Must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship status
