Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Procurement Support Coordinator to assist with the overflow of both Accounts Payable and Procurement activities across the business.
Working closely with the Finance and Procurement teams, this varied role will see you supporting day-to-day accounts payable functions while also assisting with purchasing, creating purchase orders, supplier coordination and procurement administration.
No 2 days will ever be the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative small team.
The Role - Accounts Payable Support
Assist with processing supplier invoices, credits and payments
Match invoices against purchase orders and investigate discrepancies
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve account queries
Maintain supplier records including account setup and amendments
Assist with month-end deadlines and finance administration
Support data entry, coding and reporting requirements
Ensure accurate record keeping and document management
Procurement Support
Assist with raising and managing purchase orders
Coordinate supplier quotations and pricing requests
Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries, lead times and product availability
Support project teams with purchasing requirements
Assist with supplier onboarding, credit applications and documentation
Maintain procurement records, supplier information and purchasing data
Follow up outstanding orders and assist in ensuring materials and services are delivered on time
Provide general procurement administration support to the wider team
About You - To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Previous Accounts Payable experience
Exposure to procurement, purchasing, construction administration or supplier coordination highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Experience using accounting or ERP systems (MYOB Advanced, Exo, Xero or similar advantageous)
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
A positive, reliable and proactive approach to your work
A genuine team player who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive workplace culture
What's on Offer
Flexible Hours - Rotating shift arrangement:
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Week 2 - Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Every Friday - 8:00am – 4:00pm
Or the flexibility to work 4 days per week for the right candidate.
Additional Benefits
$75K to $85K (pro rata if 4 days part-time)
