Accounts All-Rounder

A well-established Australian business is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Accounts All-Rounder to join its finance team.

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different areas of accounts, with a primary focus on accounts payable and creditor reconciliations, while also assisting with accounts receivable, general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and month end processes.

The role will provide the opportunity to work closely with and receive mentoring from the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Process creditors invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Reconcile creditor accounts and follow up on any discrepancies

• Perform bank reconciliations

• Assist with general ledger reconciliations

• Upload debtor invoices and supporting documents to customer portals

• Support month end and year end processes

• Maintain accurate filing and supporting documentation

• Liaise with internal departments regarding invoices, purchase orders, and account queries

• Provide general support to the finance team across AP, AR, and administration tasks

• Undertake additional finance duties as required by management

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in an accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounts all-rounder role

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good understanding of creditor reconciliations and invoice processing

• Experience with bank reconciliations and basic GL reconciliations

• Strong computer skills and ability to work with accounting or ERP systems

• Good communication skills and ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines

• Reliable, organised, and willing to learn

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Must have the right to work in Australia
