About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team on a 9 month full-time maternity leave contract. In this hands-on role, you will take ownership of day-to-day accounts payable activities and play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the business.
You will work closely with a supportive finance team and report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. This position is based in Keysborough.
Key Responsibilities:
Process local supplier invoices for both inventory and non-inventory items automation using M-Files document managment system and SAP systems.
Manage and execute fortnightly and monthly supplier payments for Australia and New Zealand.
Respond to supplier enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Perform monthly reconciliations of supplier statements.
Manage Fleet card and Citylink accounts.
About you:
3-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable role
Proven experience with ERP systems SAP Business One - highly regarded
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Solid reconciliation skills with Creditors balancing to statement.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
This role requires a solid understanding of invoicing processes, strong due diligence, and a proactive approach to planning and organising weekly workload.
