We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisory Manager to lead our Victoria and Tasmania portfolio within the national People Solutions Centre. In this critical leadership role, you will lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of P&C Advisors, P&C Partners, and Senior P&C Partners, with accountability for the delivery of advisory services across Victoria and Tasmania. You will partner with leaders through an advisory-led partnering approach to deliver pragmatic, high-quality workforce solutions for a large and diverse blended workforce of employees and volunteers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, People Solutions Centre, you will operate within a centralised, high-volume and complex environment, overseeing the resolution of sensitive and complex matters, building leadership capability, and drive alignment with national People & Culture strategies. You will translate strategy into operational delivery, leading, coaching, and developing your team while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Blackburn, offering the opportunity to lead a large, diverse team and deliver impact at scale within a values-driven environment.
Key responsibilities: Lead & Develop the Team: Build and coach a high-performing, values-aligned P&C advisory team, fostering collaboration, capability uplift and service excellence Deliver Advisory Excellence: Oversee consistent, high-quality advisory and advisory-led partnering services across diverse and complex portfolios Oversee Complex ER Matters: Provide expert guidance on sensitive and escalated workplace relations issues, ensuring balanced, compliant outcomes Partner with Senior Stakeholders: Build and maintain effective relationships, influencing leaders on workforce priorities, risk management and organisational outcomes Drive Strategy, Insights & Compliance: Translate strategy into action, leverage data to inform decisions, and ensure strong governance and compliance frameworks ABOUT YOU You are an experienced and people-focused HR leader with a strong track record of leading advisory teams in complex, fast-paced environment Key Capabilities: Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary HR advisory or business partnering teams Deep expertise in managing or overseeing sensitive and high-risk employee relations matters, with sound judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and coach senior leaders Proven ability to drive service excellence, continuous improvement, and team capability uplift Experience in values-driven or mission-led organisations, including exposure to volunteer workforces (highly regarded) Technologically proficient, with the ability to leverage HR systems, data and insights to enhance decision-making and service delivery WHY WORK FOR US?
