About Hames Reid Plumbing:

Hames Reid Plumbing is a long established domestic maintenance plumbing business operating in Kew and surrounding areas. 
Our customers are owner occupiers, managers, tenants, small and large businesses and local community organisations. We pride ourselves on delivering an honest, reliable service to our community and the successful candidate will understand the importance of this, building rapport with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to oversee the day-to-day operations from our Kew office base. 

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:

  • Management of all incoming communications (Email/phone)

  • Providing support to business director and plumbing estimators

  • In conjunction with the office administrator: creation, scheduling & ongoing management of work orders in the company's job management software. 

  • Time confirm timesheets for weekly payroll run

  • Management of all accounts payable /receivable functions

  • Preparation of client invoices

  • Monitor and maintain levels of office supplies/amenities

  • General office duties including WHS management 

 Skills/Requirements:
  • 2+years experience in a similar role

  • Administration experience within the trade/construction industry is desirable.

  • Able to work autonomously

  • Excellent time management and organisation skills

  • Excellent communication and written skills

  • Ability to prioritise competing tasks to meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail, commitment and professionalism in delivery of service to clients. 

  • Enthusiastic and motivated

  • Experience with Xero and Microsoft Office suite, is desirable.

  • Full time, in office position - 5 days per week (Mon-Fri) 8am – 4pm
