Join Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) as a Fleet Maintenance Administration Officer and play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of our Fleet Services Department. Based at the Sunshine Workshop, this on‑site position provides the opportunity to work closely with experienced workshop staff, apprentices, and operational stakeholders to ensure smooth day‑to‑day functioning of our maintenance environment.
In this role, you will oversee key administrative activities including the coordination of timesheets, leave, overtime, and allowances, while delivering regular reporting and data insights that help identify trends, risks, and emerging issues. You’ll provide proactive support and guidance to workshop personnel, ensuring compliance with FRV processes and contributing to a well‑organised, high‑performing fleet maintenance function.

About the Role
The fixed term (6 months) Fleet Maintenance Administration Officer position is part of a dynamic team within the Fleet Services Department and is responsible for carrying out carry out the input of fleet management and maintenance related data entry including timesheets, the task code entry sheets, create and edit the Appliance Availability Report in line with the Fleet Operations Manager's requirements to assist with monitoring of maintenance for fleet assets on a daily basis. The incumbent will work with the Manager Fleet Operations and Manager Fleet planning to modify processes to improve functional efficiency, accuracy, robustness and the quality of administration and Workshop information and processes.
What you will need to Succeed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
· SAP Plant Maintenance experience is desirable.
· Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (includes Word, Outlook, Excel).
· Previous work experience in a fleet maintenance related administration role would be advantageous.
