About the role

As a Sales Manager at Metaltex Australia, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's sales and revenue growth. This full-time position is based in Dandenong South, VIC 3175, and involves managing a team of sales representatives to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets

2. Leading, motivating and coaching a team of sales representatives to maximise their performance

3. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including cold-calling, networking and responding to tenders

4. Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships through regular communication and account management

5. Providing accurate sales forecasting and reporting to the wider business

6. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Proven track record of success in a sales management role, preferably within the account and relationship management industry

2. Previous experience in a sheet metal fabrication business

3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing a estimations team and achieving targets

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members

5. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically

6. Proficient in using sales management tools and technologies

7. Proficiency in industry-standard estimating software and CRM systems

8. Passionate about achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service

9. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business or marketing, is highly desirable

10. Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
