Industrial Batteries Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our national team overing the Victorian market.
Based initially at our Dandenong South premises, this role will relocate to our new flagship Victorian branch in Cranbourne West, expected to open in January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting the continued national expansion of one of Australia’s leading industrial battery and charging solutions providers.

About the RoleAs Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies across local and national markets. You will work closely with existing customers, identify new business opportunities, manage key sales enquiries, and collaborate with internal teams to support continued growth across the materials handling, industrial equipment and ground support equipment sectors.
This role is ideal for a commercially focused sales professional with strong relationship-building skills, proven sales leadership experience, and a background in industrial, manufacturing, materials handling or related markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business
Identifying and securing new customers across local and national markets
Managing retail, OEM and tender-related sales enquiries
Working with the national marketing team to support promotional campaigns and sales initiatives
Providing regular sales reports, market insights and performance updates to senior management
Monitoring industry trends, customer needs, competitor activity and product developments
Supporting the continued growth of IBA’s national sales presence
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A minimum of 5 years’ sales management experience, ideally within the industrial, materials handling, manufacturing or equipment sector
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong customer relationship management, negotiation and account management skills
The ability to work effectively within a motivated and growing national sales team
A sound understanding of sales strategy, market analysis and business development
Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
Experience managing OEM, retail or tender opportunities will be highly regarded
A degree in sales, marketing, business or a related field is preferred but not essential
