Gippsland Cheese is a wholesaler, distributor and manufacturer of specialty cheese and cheese accompaniments. Our heritage is from Gippsland however we've relocated to Keysborough in 2017 and have experienced strong growth. We also have built a specialty food service offer of primarily Australian cheese and accompaniments as well as a broad range from Italy, France and Spain.

We require an energetic, engaging, self starting team member to assist with building our fast paced business as we continue through our next phase of growth.

This role is currently advertised as full time Monday to Friday.

The main duties of this office / sales administration role are:

  • Work with our phone sales team to collect and process customer orders

  • Assist with processing our customer orders

  • Support our purchasing and warehousing team with documentation and stock management

  • Processing of purchases or sales into Fresho / MYOB

  • Entering invoices, processing statements and customer payments

  • Backfilling our warehouse, sales or delivery teams as and when required.

The successful candidate will ideally have a good understanding of Small / Medium sized businesses and demonstrate a keen interest and willingness to get involved in supporting our team members in delivering the business to it's highest potential.

Minimum of 1+ years of administration or office support experience is required.

  • Well presented, well organised and a self starter

  • Fast paced, energetic and engaging with our team and with customers through positive attitude and experience

  • A learning mindset and a desire to improve themselves, the people around them and the business we all work in together

  • Have a current drivers license and a clear Police check

  • Be able to coordinate their own work, with direction, and show personal initiative to complete tasks

  • Have a positive attitude and a desire to be a valued team member of a great small business team

  • Knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Office products would be of great benefit.

This is a central role in a growing business and will suit the right candidate looking for an exciting and rewarding challenge.
