Our client is a family-owned business who have been operating for over 33 years and is one of Melbourne's leading taxi Truck and 3PL management providers. With multiple sites across Melbourne, they cater for a diverse range of clients from Food Manufactures to FMCG and Packaging Clients.

We have an amazing opportunity for an Administration Manager to join their dynamic team based in Heatherton.

Reporting to the Sate Manager this key role will work in close partnership with Transport Operations, Finance and Systems Teams.

Managing a team of 2, this hands-on role will be responsible for maintaining and managing an efficient flow of work, ensuring phone calls and customer queries are attended to in an efficient and timely manner and that excellent lines of communications are maintained ensuring that the State Manager is immediately made aware of any problems connected to a job, customer complaint or failure of service. Ensuring the functional areas of corporate administration and management services, such as finance, office administration, systems and procedures, internal communications, property, and all insurances operate efficiently to provide effective support to the company.

The Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

·         General Administration

·         Full ownership of customer and subcontractor driver setup within the Freight Management System

·         Ensure pricing, charge rules, accessorial and service requirements are correctly configured

·         Invoicing 

·         Customer Service 

·         Driver Paperwork

·         Train new drivers on Administration process 

·         Customer face to face meetings 

To be considered for this role you will have the following. 

·         Previous experience in the Transport industry is a must

·         Experience in managing teams

·         Sound Time Management skills

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Clear understanding of network and logistics management

·         MS Word(Inter) Power Point (Basic) Outlook
