We are thrilled to be recruiting for a growing technology and communications business seeking a high-performing account manager in Dandenong who is confident in direct selling and closing deals.

This is not a passive support role — we are looking for someone who can engage customers, drive opportunities, and convert them into revenue.

About the role.

You will play a key role in both generating and closing sales opportunities, while also ensuring smooth execution across customer accounts and internal operations.
Working closely with the Director, you will take ownership of opportunities and help drive commercial outcomes.

  • Actively engage with leads and existing customers to drive sales and close deals
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and follow-ups with urgency
  • Manage and progress opportunities through the pipeline to conversion
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Coordinate orders, delivery, and service outcomes
  • Support the Director with diary management, scheduling, and business admin
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and reporting

About you?
  • Proven experience in direct sales with a strong track record of closing deals
  • Highly confident communicator who can influence and convert customers
  • Commercially driven with a results-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, owner-led business
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of outcomes
  • Experience in telecommunications / IT / managed services highly regarded
  • Someone who doesn’t wait for opportunities — you create and close them
  • Comfortable being on the phone, following up, and pushing conversations forward
  • A closer, not just a coordinator
