As Compliance Administrator, you are required to handle Compliance enquiries. 

You are responsible for providing compliance account assistance to our support team and customers. Your focus is to provide risk and compliance advisory (including incident management, risk assessment and treatment) .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all compliance related calls and tickets professionally and in a timely manner

  • Process compliance related refunds, credits and returns. 

  • Investigate suspicious account and customer activity and execute preventative measures in line with policy. 

  • Perform customer risk and account limit assessments 

  • Create new and provide reviews and improvements to customer support procedures and team documentation.

  • Ensure external customer and internal knowledge bases are kept up to date at all times

  • Develop and prepare compliance reports

  • Manage regulatory reporting

  • Draft and implement relevant compliance policies and procedures

  • Conduct regular training and awareness sessions

  • Review privacy and data breaches

  • Improve and maintain quality standards of compliance

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain the compliance framework

  • Understanding of the Cointree AML and CTF program

  • Review PEPs and Sanctions list reports weekly

  • Refer to AML and CTF Procedure manual with any suspicion that arises with any enquiry or ticket raised

  • Raising any potential SMR’s in a confidential manner to AUSTRAC and communicating with the compliance officer or authorised CoinTree representative


Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication and written skills

  • Ability to learn and to adapt to new environments quickly

  • Proactive working manner, with a customer focused approach

  • Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision

  • Excellent customer service skills
