Kailo Medical builds the workflow software that radiology and medical imaging teams rely on every day - reporting, integration, and the AI products that are reshaping how imaging gets read and reported. Our platform spans Australia, New Zealand, North America and beyond, and our software touches real patient care: the reports clinicians write, the studies they prioritise, the data that flows safely between systems.
We're a focused team of around 40, backed for serious growth, and we're in the middle of the most interesting stretch in our history - building a new generation of AI-first products and modernising the platform underneath them.
The OpportunityThis is a client-facing role for someone who likes getting deep into how our customers actually work. You'll partner directly with Kailo's clients - radiology practices and healthcare providers - to understand their workflows, capture what they need, and make sure what we build genuinely fits.
You'll be the bridge between our clients and our product and engineering teams: listening closely on one side, translating clearly on the other. It suits someone analytical and personable, a strong communicator who can hold their own with both clinicians and engineers, and who wants their work to make a tangible difference to the people using the software.
Your Day to DayWork directly with Kailo's clients to understand their radiology workflows, goals and pain points
Elicit, analyse and document client requirements clearly and thoroughly
Translate clinical and operational needs into specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria for our product and engineering teams
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with client stakeholders to align on scope and priorities
Act as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout delivery
Support testing and user acceptance with clients, validating that what we deliver fits the need
Keep clients and internal teams aligned with clear, well-maintained documentation
Kailo runs an AI-native culture, with Claude (Anthropic) adopted across the company. This isn't just for the engineers.
Use AI tools as a core part of how you work - drafting documentation, analysing requirements, summarising stakeholder input and spotting patterns
Help build reusable AI tools and prompts that make analysis faster and more consistent across the team
Own your output. AI helps you move faster, but you're accountable for accuracy - validate what it produces and apply good judgement, especially with clinical data
If you already use AI tools day to day, you'll fit right in. If you're keen to but haven't had the chance, we'll get you there fast.
