This is not a desk-bound role.

This is a leadership position embedded within the operation—working shoulder-to-shoulder with drivers, operations, support functions, leadership teams, and customers to make safety real, practical, and meaningful every single day.

The Opportunity

As our Safety & Compliance Manager, you will lead a team of Safety Business Partners and take accountability for embedding a durable, people-centred safety culture across a geographically dispersed transport operation.

You will shape how people think, act, and lead on safety—not through enforcement alone, but through credibility, presence, influence, and trust.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory frameworks

• Experience in transport safety and compliance environment will be highly regarded

• Certificate IV WHS or equivalent

• Experience working within or alongside WorkSafe authorities

• Exposure to or understanding of:

  • National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR)

  • Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL)

  • Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
