About the role 

We’re looking for a proactive and passionate Finance Business Partner to provide financial and commercial support to the business, helping teams make better, more profitable decisions.

This role partners closely with Sales, Category, Marketing and Demand/Supply teams, contributing to core planning processes and providing insight into performance drivers across the business. You’ll work alongside an experienced Finance Business Partner and be part of a high-performing commercial finance team.

Based in Huntingdale, this role will report to our Head of Finance.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

What does my day look like?

  • Support monthly reporting for Executive Leadership Team and Key Stakeholders

  • Provide commercial insights on the drivers of category performance, customer growth and profitability, product line development and profitability

  • Develop and implement financial models to support business cases, and review post-launch performances

  • Assist delivering financial forecasts and budgets and monitor business performance against these targets.

  • Complete the financial month end accounting process for Sales, Supply & logistics and inventory

  • Partner with various Key Stakeholders to support the Integrated Business Planning process

  • Support and guide the Sales Team to optimise our Trade spend management and overall revenue performance

  • Budget construction

  • Lead business projects (Project Management) to drive accountability and results for cross-functional projects.

What are we looking for? 

  • CA/CPA Qualification 

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial business partnering 

  • FMCG industry sector experience is highly regarded

  • Sound financial management skills and an ability to understand and analyse detailed financial information, which results in well-reasoned decision making

  • Strong understanding of financial information systems and databases, with strong excel and financial modelling skills

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Excellent analytical capabilities

  • Confidence communicating and can engage with and influence your key stakeholders
