About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide ethical, compliant, and comprehensive financial advice tailored to individual client needs. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their financial goals through strategic planning, product recommendations, and ongoing relationship management.
Using your technical expertise, a typical week would include:Conduct thorough financial assessments to understand clients’ current financial situations, goals, and risk toleranceProvide comprehensive, compliant, and ethical financial advice aligned with clients’ best interestsProactively identify opportunities to enhance clients’ financial wellbeing and develop customised financial plansRecommend suitable financial products and services that align with clients’ objectives and market conditionsEnsure financial plans remain current and effective through regular assessments and updatesBuild and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional serviceRespond promptly to client enquiries and provide ongoing support and educationIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive growthEnsure strict adherence to all legislative, regulatory, and professional standardsCollaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless, integrated client service
What we are looking for Tertiary Degree in finance, financial planning, business or a related degreeRG146, CFP or other recognised financial planning qualification3-5 years’ proven industry experience as a Financial Advisor Strong knowledge of financial products, investment strategies, and regulatory requirementsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsHigh ethical standards and a client-first mindsetExceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectivelyHighly organised with strong attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExperience using XPLAN is highly regarded
