What you’ll be doingAct as a trusted partner to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, providing insight, challenge, and clear recommendations.Own the economic lens of the business, ensuring decisions are grounded in margin, risk, and return.Lead financial governance, controls, and compliance across the organisation.Forecasting finished goods and revenueManagement reporting on the health of the business vs the planDeveloping BOMS and Routings methodologyOversee analytics and operational efficiency capability to ensure data is translated into action, not just reporting.Drive improvements in margin, working capital, cost structure, and throughput.Call out risk and poor economics early, even when it’s uncomfortable.Influence outcomes across the business through clarity, evidence, and judgement. What we’re looking forA commercial finance leader with experience in complex operational environments (Manufacturing desirable)Tax minimisation experienceStrong judgement and the confidence to challenge when something doesn’t stack up.Proven ability to turn insight into action through people, data, and influence.Experience using ratio analysis to manage and monitor the health of a businessAbility to work with team members locally, offshore and internationally to deliver high quality transaction outcomes and strategic insightsComfortable owning cross-functional outcomes without needing to “run everything”.
