Our valued client, Zimsen Partners, is an Australian professional services firm providing accounting, taxation, business advisory, wealth creation, and Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) services to individuals, investors, and businesses. Located at Keysborough, Victoria, the firm delivers integrated financial solutions that help clients build, manage, and protect their wealth through strategic investment planning, tax-effective structures, retirement planning, and ongoing financial guidance.

To support their growing client base and expanding wealth advisory services, Zimsen Partners is seeking a Financial Investment Adviser to provide professional investment advice, develop tailored wealth management strategies, and assist clients in achieving their long-term financial objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

The annual salary for this position is $77,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducted comprehensive assessments of clients' financial circumstances, investment objectives, risk tolerance, retirement goals, and wealth accumulation requirements to develop tailored investment strategies.

  • Analysed financial markets, investment products, superannuation opportunities, and economic trends to identify suitable investment solutions aligned with clients' objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Developed and presented personalised investment plans incorporating diversified portfolios, superannuation strategies, managed investments, and wealth creation opportunities.

  • Provided strategic advice on Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs), including fund establishment, investment structuring, contribution strategies, retirement income planning, and compliance considerations.

  • Evaluated investment risks and returns associated with various asset classes, including equities, property investments, fixed-income securities, and cash management solutions, and recommended appropriate investment allocations.

  • Assisted clients in implementing tax-effective investment structures and wealth management strategies to maximise long-term financial outcomes while maintaining compliance with taxation legislation.

  • Monitored investment portfolio performance and conducted periodic reviews to assess progress against financial objectives, recommending adjustments in response to market conditions and client circumstances.

  • Prepared detailed financial forecasts, cash-flow projections, and retirement planning models to support informed investment and wealth management decisions.

  • Advised clients on asset protection, succession planning, estate planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer strategies to preserve and grow personal and business wealth.

  • Liaised with Accountants, Taxation Specialists, Lenders, Legal Practitioners, and other financial professionals to coordinate integrated financial solutions for clients.

  • Prepared Statements of Advice, investment reports, financial reviews, and compliance documentation in accordance with Australian financial services legislation, regulatory standards, and professional obligations.

  • Maintained ongoing client relationships by providing regular investment updates, market insights, and strategic recommendations to support changing financial goals and optimise investment outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Should have at least one (1) year of relevant experience.

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or at least five (5) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).

  • Registration or licensing is required.

  • In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
