We are seeking an exceptional leader to become the Centre Director of our brand-new, state-of-the-art childcare facility in the heart of Clayton, a stones through from Monash Children's Hospital. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced professional who excels in team building and fostering a positive and inclusive company culture. You will have the opportunity to recruit and lead a passionate team, ensuring that our centre becomes a cornerstone of excellence and nurturing for the vibrant Clayton community. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating a welcoming and supportive environment where both staff and children can thrive.

The Role:

Supported by a dedicated and experienced management team you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre as well as mentor, coach and lead your team of educators.  Whilst you will have autonomy in your role, you will be well supported and exposed to ongoing professional development opportunities.  Drawing on your extensive experience and passion for the early childhood sector, you will oversee staffing, policy and regulations as well as develop long lasting relationships with parents and the local community whilst ensuring the centre is providing the highest calibre of care and education.  In return you will receive an excellent remuneration package.

The Candidate:

You will be passionate and driven with demonstrated experience as a Centre Director at a similar sized service with an excellent track record.  You will thrive on the challenge of opening a new centre and building enrolments along with your team of educators.  You will pride yourself on the centre’s reputation and establish strong community connections.  You will present with excellent communication skills and have a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters policies and procedures.  You will have a strong working knowledge of the Regulations and National Quality Framework, and will strive for excellence in every aspect of operations.

The Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma of Children Services

• Strong working knowledge of Storypark manage

• Working knowledge of Storypark

• Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification

• WWCC

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Director role.
