We are one of Australia's leading manufacturers of Protective packaging and cold chain solutions. Operating out of our state of the art facility in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-driven Customer & Finance Support Officer to join the team.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across customer service, finance and operations, providing seamless account support to our customers while delivering high-value administrative support to our Finance and Operations teams.

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, this role plays a key part in ensuring smooth customer transactions, financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Point of contact for customer account and product queries

  • Manage end-to-end customer order processing

  • Monitor and communicate order progress to ensure DIFOT outcomes

  • Identify and resolve pricing and order discrepancies

  • Manage daily invoicing, credit entries and POD documentation

  • Develop trusted relationships with key customer accounts

Finance (Must Have Experience)

  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions

  • Enter supplier invoices and manage supplier statements

  • Perform bank, supplier and account reconciliations

  • Prepare and post journal entries

  • Manage and reconcile MasterCard statements monthly

  • Support month-end reporting and external audit requests

Operations Support

  • Data entry and validation of freight invoices

  • Monitor stock adjustments

  • Assist with stocktake processes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

✔ Customer service and communication skills

✔ Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
✔ Experience with journal entries and account reconciliations
✔ Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔ ERP/accounting system experience
✔ Intermediate Excel skills
