About the role

Bright Waves Swim School is seeking enthusiastic Swim Teachers or Customer Service professionals to join our team at our swim school in Tarneit.

As a Swim Teacher or Customer Service representative, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality swim lessons and delivering exceptional customer service to our swimmers of all ages and abilities. This is a casual position with flexible hours, perfect for those looking to work around other commitments.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering engaging and effective swim lessons to swimmers of all ages and abilities, from babies through to adults

• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all swimmers in your care

• Providing professional and friendly customer service to clients, answering inquiries and addressing any concerns

• Assisting with the coordination and organisation of swim school operations, such as scheduling, class management and equipment maintenance

• Contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment

What we're looking for

• Experience as a swim teacher or in a customer service role is highly regarded, ideally within the sport and recreation industry.

• A passion for swimming and a commitment to helping others learn and improve their skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with swimmers of all ages and backgrounds

• Excellent time management and organisational abilities

• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain these)
