A fantastic opportunity has become available for a performance-driven, customer-focused Service Advisor to join the Banlay team to deliver an exceptional customer service experience, as the current female team member doing this is retiring.

We are seeking a Service Advisor with unrivalled customer service skills. You will need a proven customer service background. Banlay Truck and Trailer Repairs is a long established family owned business based in Dandenong South. We are a high-performing heavy vehicle workshop that prides itself on managing high customer retention and satisfaction.

Experience within the automotive industry is preferred, or experience working in a similar role, this role would also suit a qualified mechanic who is looking to expand on their career.

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday, with a rostered Saturday morning.

Excellent organisation and communication skills with attention to detail, you will use your skills and knowledge to accurately assess and communicate with customers to ascertain their needs, communicate with the workshop technicians and our in-house parts department team to manage and meet customer expectations.

The role will be:

Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone, accurately identifying their vehicle service requirements

Schedule service appointments with customers to manage workshop capacity

Prepare and process repair orders, secure approvals, prepare customer quotes and generate invoices for completed work

Liaise with contractors for the workshop and suppliers

Provide clear communication and transparent explanations of estimated service times and completion status to customers

Maintain accurate data within our service management system
