Knox Early Learning Centre is a brand new 100-place early learning service opening in Wantirna VIC Mid - Late 2026, family owned and operated. We are seeking an experienced, passionate Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor to lead the creation and development of this exciting new service for the local community.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the vision, culture and operational foundation of a NEW STARTUP service from the ground up.

About the Role

As Service Director, you will:

 Lead the team and the day-to-day operations of the service.

 Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing team.

 Create a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.

 Oversee compliance in line with Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.

 Build strong relationships with families and the local Wantirna community.

 Drive quality improvement and prepare for Assessment & Rating.

 Work closely with Approved Provider/Operational Team to support and implement systems, policies and procedures.

 High priority on embedding a Child Safe Environment, Service and Team culture.

What We’re Looking For

 Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)

 Proven experience in a leadership or Director role

 Strong knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQF) and Victorian regulations

 Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams.

 Sound understanding of compliance, governance and financial oversight.

 Current VIT (if ECT), WWCC and First Aid qualifications

 You are confident, organised, passionate, professional, devoted, caring, dynamic and highly driven about creating high-quality early learning environments.

 Current Child Safety Certifcate, Child Protection Certificate
