About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Admin and Office Support professional to join our team at Axent in our Clayton, Victoria office. This full-time role is critical in providing administrative and office support to ensure the smooth running of our operations. 

What you'll be doing

  • Providing a range of administrative support services to the administration manager, including collecting mail, organising quotes and booking freight, keeping track of staff amenities and uniforms, organising staff travel and accomodation, and more

  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, reports when required.

  • Handling incoming calls and correspondence, and providing exceptional customer service

  • Maintaining and updating office systems and records

  • Supporting the service department with admin duties, including logging faults and organising equipment

  • Offering general office support to ensure the team can focus on their core responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will be trained up on our inhouse service software.

  • Assisting the administration and finance manager with data entry and accounts.

  • Other duties as directed

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office support professional

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite and other office software. Experience with Xero software is highly preferable

  • Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset

  • A positive, flexible, and collaborative attitude
