Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Freight Forwarding Operations Specialist with hands-on experience in the industry and proficiency in Cargowise software. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing freight forwarding operations for international shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end process of freight forwarding, including booking, documentation, and coordination of shipments.

• Utilize Cargowise software for managing shipments, tracking, and updating client records.

• Collaborate with internal teams, customers, and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their shipments.

• Resolve any operational issues or delays with shipments and work to resolve disputes as necessary.

• Monitor the performance of suppliers and vendors and report performance metrics to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management.

• Proficiency with Cargowise.

• Strong understanding of freight forwarding procedures.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and external partners.

• Experience in both sea freight and air freight forwarding is preferred.

• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
