What’s On Offer

As a Sales Estimating Team Leader, you’ll drive the operational success of our Sales Estimating function—ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely estimates that directly influence customer experience and business performance. This is a leadership role with real impact, overseeing daily team operations, workflow, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across estimating, site assessments, drafting/admin interfaces, and cross‑functional sales support. You’ll be stepping into a role that shapes both customer and commercial outcomes, while leading a capable team through change, development, and growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations, workflow, and team performance.
  • Ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant quotations, costings, and site assessments.
  • Maintain and improve methods for capturing and calculating site costs.
  • Ensure all deals meet building codes, developer guidelines, and internal requirements.
  • Continuously improve quality assurance processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
  • Drive margin protection through clear reporting and root‑cause analysis.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong understanding of building methodology and sales estimating.
  • Experience leading a large and diverse team.
  • Knowledge of Rescode, town planning, and compliance requirements.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to motivate, guide, and positively influence others.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, time management, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven experience in estimating systems, cost management improvements, and process optimisation.
  • A proactive, organised, and resilient approach with a strong customer and solution focus.
  • Relevant qualification and/or a building‑related degree.
