Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hotline Support: Provide first-level technical support and resolution to customers via case management in CRM in a timely manner. Manage customer expectations with prompt, concise, and accurate delivery of proactive service, information, and consultations, including handling escalations appropriately. Support key customers after hours as needed.

  • Field Services: Plan and deliver field services at customer sites, including attending breakdowns and performing planned maintenance across all states in Australia and New Zealand. Ensure strict compliance with WHS policies of both KUKA and customers.

  • Technical Training: Offer expert support and conduct training for system integrators and end customers on the operation and programming of various robotic applications using the full range of KUKA products and technology packages.

  • Spare Parts: Assist with internal parts handling, including receipt, dispatch, and regular inventory management of goods.

  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in regular team meetings, submit all internal reports in a timely manner, and familiarize yourself with various software platforms utilized in day-to-day tasks.

  • Self-Learning & Continuous Technical Improvement: Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous professional development by proactively enhancing knowledge of KUKA products and technologies. Engages in internal KUKA training programs, attends webinars, and utilizes self-learning resources to stay up to date with the latest product developments, tools, and best practices. Ensuring the ability to effectively support customers with up-to-date KUKA knowledge.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / Mechatronic / Robotics Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in industrial robotics/automation/field service/CS engineer.

  • Some exposure to KUKA robotics systems is preferred.

  • Knowledge in higher level programming language and/or automated industrial manufacturing process adopting industrial robots are an added advantage.

  • Preferred Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident currently located in Melbourne
