We're a modern Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary in the South Melbourne area and we're looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant!

About us
Our rapidly growing business is currently predominantly online and non-patient facing, we also welcome patients face-to-face in our state-of-the-art retail space. We support a number of Australia's leading telehealth services and medicinal cannabis brands, helping patients all around the nation access this medication and provide the support they need, and have been recognised by winning Cannabiz Dispensary of the Year 2024 and 2025.

About the role

With a can-do attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn, this is an exciting opportunity for an early career or experienced Pharmacy Assistant to discover this exciting industry. You will be part of our incredible team that ensures plant medications are dispensed and dispatched in a timely and accurate manner.

In the role, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:

  • Accurately complete, pick and pack e-commerce orders
  • Inventory management tasks (including putting away stock; stock organisation; stock management)
  • Providing our patients with top-notch service and counselling, when needed
  • Administrative support for pharmacists
  • Work in cooperation with Pharmacists and Dispense Technicians to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications

General information about the job

  • Part-time and full-time positions available
  • Monday to Saturday, availability to work weekends is favourable
  • Flexible working hours

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualification/experience in Pharmacy or experience in a similar inventory-oriented or pick packing role highly advantageous
  • Attention to detail and orientation towards processes is essential to this role!
  • Quick learner - the ability to understand and follow our dispensing procedures and to adapt as we grow
  • Excellent customer service skills - you'll be required at times to direct and assist patients with their orders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and regulatory documentation
  • Outstanding inventory control skills
  • Medicinal Cannabis experience highly desired but not essential
