About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader Inbound Day Shift to oversee daily receiving operations within our warehouse. This role is responsible for leading a high performing inbound team, ensuring goods are received accurately, safely, and efficiently, while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise daily inbound (receiving) operations to ensure timely and accurate intake of goods
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are unloaded, checked, recorded, and processed correctly
  • Promote and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including OH&S requirements
  • Manage team performance, productivity, and efficiency within the inbound function
  • Coordinate daily staffing, rostering, and workflow to meet operational targets
  • Support and guide team members, including training and development
  • Use and maintain warehouse systems
  • Monitor processing status through management tools
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement
  • Liaise with internal teams and suppliers as required
  • Actively participate in problem solving and operational troubleshooting
  • Perform additional duties as required within the scope of the role

  • Problem Solving: Ability to analyse issues and implement quick, effective solutions

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably within inbound/receiving operations
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of warehouse systems
  • A proactive and safety-focused mindset
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
