Reporting directly to the Director, the Service Manager will take full ownership of ODM’s service and maintenance division — with a clear mandate to grow it. This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. You will be expected to build the division’s revenue, expand our client base, and establish ODM as the go-to electrical service contractor in our markets.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their team’s output, and understands that sustainable business growth is built on consistent, reliable service delivery.
Day-to-day, you will manage a team of field electricians, coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works, and oversee service projects up to $250,000 in value — taking full accountability for delivery, quality, and commercial outcome. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients and the driving force behind ODM’s service growth strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the electrical service and maintenance division
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise a team of service electricians across multiple sites
• Act as the primary client contact for all service and maintenance work — building strong, long-term relationships

• Manage subcontractors engaged on service works — ensuring quality, safety, and programme compliance
• Monitor and report on division KPIs including revenue, margin, job completion rates, and client satisfaction
• Ensure all service works are executed in compliance with AS/NZS 3000, relevant state regulations, and ODM's HSEQ management system
• Identify and pursue opportunities to grow the service portfolio through existing and new client relationships
• Maintain accurate job records, timesheet approvals, and documentation within ODM's systems
• Manage emergency response works as required
