We are looking for Disability Educator Supports who will be responsible for delivering high quality programs and support in response to the needs and interests of participants. We have the following vacancies:

What this role involves

Working alongside Campus Coordinators, Educators and Educator Supports are responsible for delivering high quality programs and support in response to the needs and interests of participants.

You will:

• Contribute to the development and delivery of programs that are outcome focused and meet participant goals and aspirations.

• Support participants to engage in recreational and learning programs.

• Ensure the well-being and safety of participants, and exercise a duty of care to participants, other staff and members of the community.

• Monitor and support the safe involvement of participants in community-based activities.

• Work cooperatively and maintain effective communication in a manner appropriate to participant needs.

• Provide personal care in a responsible and safe manner.

• Commit to putting people at the centre of everything you do.

• Have experience and/or special interest in working with people with an intellectual disability, including people with additional complex needs.

Eligibility: 

• A current Drivers’ Licence.

• Working with Children Check and an NDIS Workers’ Screening Check.

• Certificate III in Disability or another relevant field.
