Disability Support Worker Team Leader – Croydon North, VIC

Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker ready to step into a Team Leader role while still staying hands-on with clients? We are seeking a passionate and capable Disability Support Worker Team Leader to join our team in Croydon North on a Permanent Part Time basis.

This is a blended role, offering both hands-on client support and leadership responsibilities. You will work directly with participants while also guiding and mentoring a team of support workers to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery within a fast-paced SIL home

About You
We are looking for someone who is confident supporting participants while also stepping into a leadership role within the team. Responsibilities include:

• Providing person-centred supports including personal care, household tasks, and community access
• Supporting participants to work towards meaningful goals using active support practices
• Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of Disability Support Workers
• Ensuring support strategies from Allied Health professionals are implemented consistently
• Completing administrative tasks and reporting to the Disability Services Manager
• Promoting a positive, collaborative team culture within a busy SIL home environment

The successful applicant must hold:

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Valid driver’s licence and comprehensive car insurance

Roster (Set Fortnightly roster, MUST be available for all the shifts below)
Week 1

• Monday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
• Tuesday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
• Friday: 7:00pm – 12:00am

Week 2

• Tuesday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
• Wednesday: 2:00pm – 7:00pm
• Friday: 12:00am – 9:00am

Pay Rates
SCHADS Award PPT B2.3 (before tax), plus annual and personal leave

• Day Shift (Base Pay Rate): $36.75
• Afternoon Shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $41.34
• Active Night Shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday): $42.26
• Saturday: $55.13
• Sunday: $73.50
• Public holiday: $91.88
