Form the Future of Parts Business at Mazda Australia

We’re seeking a Parts Development Specialist. In this role, you will support the growth and performance of the parts business by providing financial planning, data analysis, and commercial insights that inform strategic decisions. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and dealer networks to drive parts sales performance and support key business initiatives.

This role requires a full-time, on-site presence, five days a week, to foster collaboration, strengthen team connections, and ensure seamless support across the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, dealer purchase targets, and monthly forecasts for parts revenue and profitability.

  • Analyse sales and dealer performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Contribute to pricing and market analysis to support competitive positioning and pricing strategies.

  • Prepare and deliver regular business reports and insights for internal stakeholders and industry reporting requirements.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives and programs designed to grow parts sales and support dealer performance.

  • Collaborate with state teams and dealer networks to support business discussions and share insights on performance and opportunities.

  • Develop presentations and provide analytical support for management meetings, projects, and strategic initiatives.

About You:

You’re a confident analytical expert with a strong service mindset, able to balance day-to-day operations with strategic improvement. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and are comfortable working multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary degree qualifications in a business discipline

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in gathering and analysing data with a sound understanding of business and financial reporting principles

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and apply data to planning / decision making

  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills and customer orientation

  • Strong computer literacy, including advanced Excel and Access skills, SQL proficiency, with experience in Power BI highly desirable
