About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable female Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to a female NDIS participant based in Croydon. The role focuses on assisting with daily living, community access, personal care, and promoting independence in a safe and respectful manner.
This is a casual, ongoing role, ideal for someone looking for consistent shifts during the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support in the participant’s home and community
- Assist with personal care, including continence support and hygiene
- Support with meal preparation in line with dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light household duties (tidying, dishes, basic cleaning)
- Support community access, including outings, appointments, and activities
- Encourage independence, choice, and participation in daily routines
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns to the service coordinator
- Follow NDIS policies, care plans, and risk assessments at all times
About You
- Female support worker (participant preference)
- Patient, respectful, and understanding of personal boundaries
- Comfortable providing personal and continence care
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication and basic documentation skills
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 & Flu vaccination (as per participant/service requirements)
- Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferred for community access)
