About the Role

Based at our Multicultural Wellness Centre in Wantirna, this role supports the delivery of engaging, culturally responsive programs for older people and people aged 65+ living with disability or dementia from Chinese, Sri Lankan and Filipino backgrounds.

Working closely with the Program Coordinator, you will assist with the day‑to‑day running of centre‑based activities that help clients remain living at home, stay socially connected, and provide valuable respite for their carers.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference while supporting community connection, wellbeing and independence.

About you

You are passionate about supporting older people to stay active, socially connected and engaged within their community. You enjoy facilitating group activities and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where clients feel comfortable and valued. With a warm communication style and a practical, hands‑on approach, you support wellbeing, independence and meaningful participation in day programs.
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or a related qualification
  • Enjoyment and confidence in facilitating group activities for older people
  • Previous experience supporting day programs (desirable)
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Willingness and confidence to drive a 12‑seater bus (preferred)
