Nightlife is a consumer driven service that aims to create flexible supports for people with disability living in their own homes. Our office is based in Heatherton with services provided throughout the Southern Bayside and Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Nightlife's mission is to enable people to live as independently as possible and enjoy an inclusive lifestyle. We operate 7 days a week/365 days a year.

About the role

This role involves the provision of in-home support, community access and personal care to people with disability living within their own homes. We offer a specialised service providing day, evening and overnight supports at the time that best suits our service users. We have the option to utlise our fleet vehicles to make getting to jobs easier on staff. Long and short shifts available; choose one to match with your lifestyle.

We are currently prioritising staff with availability to work evening and night shifts - but people with day availability are also encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Nightlife is seeking candidates with the following qualifications and checks:

• Cert III or other relevant qualification
• Current driver license
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• WWCC and International Police Checks (if required)

Skills and experience

• Enthusiastic, reliable and motivated
• Committed to the rights of people with disability
• Experience working with people with physical disability is preferable
• Willingness to learn and work in a variety of environments
• Experienced and well trained in Complex Care (Such as Medication, Dysphagia, Bowel Care and Catheter Care)
• Comfortable with supporting exercises routines
• Capable with household chores
• Confident driving a wheelchair
• Excellent communication skills
