Support Worker Opportunity — Cranbourne North (Afternoon Shifts)

Ongoing Part-Time Support Worker Role | Long-Term Position | Personality Focused Match

We are currently seeking a calm, confident and proactive support worker to become a consistent and valued part of the life of an almost 12 year old boy living in Cranbourne.

This is a highly personalised support role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys building meaningful long term connections and can bring both structure and warmth into a home environment.

We are not simply looking to “fill shifts” we are looking for the right person.

The participant is cheeky, inquisitive, engaging and full of personality. He enjoys interaction, humour, routine and being included in everyday activities around the home.

He responds best to people who are:

• Calm and emotionally regulated

• Confident without being overpowering

• Gentle, supportive and intuitive

• Observant and able to think ahead

• Easygoing with a “can-do” attitude

He does not respond well to nervous, anxious or highly chaotic energy.

The ideal worker will be someone who can confidently guide the afternoon routine while still making supports feel enjoyable, engaging and meaningful.
