With a lean and highly collaborative team structure, the business offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced leaders across both development and project delivery. With continued growth and projects progressing across multiple stages, an opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Development Manager to join the team and support both the Development Manager and Project Manager across a broad range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining project reporting, programme tracking, meeting minutes and key documentation
  • Conducting market, planning and project research to support development and delivery decisions
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to help drive projects forward and solve problems proactively
  • Contributing to feasibility reviews, procurement coordination and general project administration support
The role offers broad exposure across development and project delivery functions, creating a strong foundation for long-term career growth within the property sector.

The Foundation for Success
You will be degree-qualified in Property, Construction Management, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related discipline and bring a genuine passion for the Melbourne property market and the apartment development sector.

The business is particularly interested in someone who is curious, proactive, and motivated to learn in a collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment.

You will also bring:

  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset with strong initiative and attention to detail
  • Confidence in asking questions, contributing ideas and supporting multiple moving parts across projects
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management capability
  • A positive attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves within a small team environment
  • Commercial curiosity and a genuine desire to build a long-term career within property development
  • Above all, you will enjoy being part of a collaborative business where initiative, accountability and team contribution are genuinely valued.
