Female (participant preference) Disability Support Workers – Life Skills Program (Permanent Part-Time or Casual)

We are looking for some superstar Disability Support Workers to join our team!

We have permanent part-time or casual roles available starting mid July

Shifts available:

6am - 9am - Monday and Friday

9am - 3.30pm Monday and Tuesday

9am - 4.30pm Thursday

9am - 4.30pm Friday

Further opportunities to pick up additional shifts to cover sick leave and annual leave when required.

About the Role
You will be supporting participants in a structured Life Skills Program, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful daily routines. This is a hands-on role that requires initiative, consistency, and a genuine passion for improving the lives of people with a disability.

The 6am - 9am shift will be supporting a lovely young female in her home (Narre Warren South area) to get ready for the day.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who:

  • Has 3–5 years’ experience working in the disability sector (essential)

  • Is a reliable, hard worker who takes pride in their role

  • Demonstrates initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team

  • Builds strong, respectful relationships with participants

  • Is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support

  • Brings energy, positivity, and professionalism to every shift

This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically looking for someone who already excels in the industry and understands what it takes to create a meaningful and engaging life for people with a disability. Applications without relevant experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting participants with daily living and life skills development

  • Encouraging independence and community participation

  • Following individual support plans and behaviour strategies

  • Maintaining accurate documentation and communication with the team

  • Contributing to a positive, safe, and engaging program environment
