MyPeople Disability and Support is a NDIS Service Provider with offices based in Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Perth, Darwin, Hobart, Canberra, and Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding, vibrant, and supportive team to support NDIS participants to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Your primary responsibility will be to support our participants to have the choice, control, and independence to live their best life. We are currently seeking experienced support workers across metropolitan Melbourne.
About the role:
At MyPeople Disability and Support, we work with participants living with a wide range of disabilities, including physical, neurological, intellectual, and psychosocial conditions.
We support individuals with physical disabilities, such as mobility impairments, spinal cord injuries, and neurological conditions like MND or Multiple Sclerosis, assisting with daily activities, transfers, and community access.
We also provide services for participants with intellectual disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays, focusing on building independence, communication skills, and structured daily routines.
Our team works closely with individuals experiencing psychosocial disabilities, such as anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, supporting emotional wellbeing, social participation, and stability in daily life.
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers (DSWs) who are confident and knowledgeable in providing personal care and daily living supports to individuals with complex neurological conditions. This role requires a high level of professionalism, compassion, and an understanding of the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs associated with progressive and neurological disabilities.
Previous experience supporting clients with physical, intellectual and/or psychosocial and personal care requirements is preferred, along with a strong commitment to delivering person-centred, respectful, and high-quality care.

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, the following skills and experience are essential:
Experience with any of the following: Mental Disabilities- Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia
Experience with any of the following: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Epilepsy, and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).
Experience with any of the following: Intellectual Disabilities
Medication Administration experience and certificate
6 months prior experience
Clear and effective communication skills and understanding of LGBTQ community
