We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to support NDIS participants across Melbourne's Western and Northern suburbs. Through person-centred support, you'll help participants achieve their goals, build confidence, develop independence, and engage meaningfully in their communities.

About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that enables participants to live independently, achieve their goals, and engage with their community.

Your duties may include:

  • Supporting participants with daily living activities
  • Assisting with community access and social outings
  • Transporting participants to appointments, education and activities

  • Encouraging independence and life skills development
  • Providing personal care support where required
  • Promoting participant choice, dignity, and inclusion
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes

What We're Looking For

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and committed to delivering high-quality support


Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check -Employee

  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Current Australian Driver Licence
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current National Police Check
  • Smartphone and basic computer skills


Desirable

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, or similar
  • Previous experience in disability support, aged care, mental health, or community services
