The Cabinetmaker is responsible for the manufacture, assembly and installation of custom cabinetry, joinery and furniture components for residential and commercial projects. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, operating woodworking machinery, and ensuring high-quality finished products in line with client specifications and safety standards.

Task & responsibilities
- Interpret workshop drawings, plans and specifications
- Manufacture custom cabinets, joinery and furniture components
- Operate woodworking machinery including panel saws, CNC routers, edge banders and sanders
- Assemble cabinets and fittings using a range of materials
- Install completed cabinetry on-site when required
- Select appropriate materials, hardware and finishes
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment
- Follow WHS requirements and company procedures
Qualification & experience
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Cabinet Making or equivalent trade qualification
- Overseas trade qualifications are also considered
Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Cabinetmaker
