We have an exciting Pre Construction Coordinator , working with the Project team.

In this position, you will be responsible for all aspects of pre-construction administration, as well as key project support tasks throughout the build. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our projects progress efficiently and meet all required approvals and milestones.

You will report to and be supported by our Project Team Manager acting as her 2IC

The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, from 8.45am - 5.00pm 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the pre-construction administration process for multi-unit developments, including preparing and submitting applications, permits, and required documentation.

  • Prepare and coordinate documentation required for Request for Information (RFI) submissions.

  • Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors, consultants, internal team members, and clients to ensure timely responses and updates in a fast-paced environment.

  • Oversee the admin inbox, prioritising and actioning tasks efficiently.

  • Assist with onsite administrative tasks such as arranging utility connections and service installations.

  • Manage subdivision applications and processes during the end-of-build phase.

  • Maintain accurate project records and track progress across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Provide general administrative support to the construction and project teams.

  • Confidently navigate between pre-site and onsite tasks as required and directed by Management.

Skills & Experience

The Successful Applicant will have the following skills:

  • Have worked in a pre construction Role for a minimum of 2 years

  • Be able to read and interpret architectural plans and town planning documents

  • Knowledge of pre-construction permits and processes

  • Knowledge of project management software Buildertrend (Preferable)

  • Previous experience working for a Medium Density Residential Builder (Preferable) 

  • Have a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Passionate about building and construction.

  • A positive and self-motivated attitude.

  • The ability to develop and follow process.

  • A desire to take ownership and responsibility for the role.

  • Thrive on working in a fast paced environment

  • Confidence to answer and make phone calls
